Every additional child is just $100
Enrolling more than one child? Your first child pays the regular tuition above (we apply it to your highest grade level), and every additional child in the same checkout is just $100 for the year. Four children, including a high schooler, come to $500 total. It’s applied automatically at checkout.
Your child’s school year runs for 12 months from the day you enroll. Enrollment is open year-round.
Unique Abilities (FES-UA) families save 25%. Scholarship funds can’t pay umbrella school tuition, so we discount it instead. Email proof of your FES-UA award to ascendstemacademy@gmail.com and we’ll send your code.

Military & veteran families save 10% on enrollment and Ascend merch. Thank you for your service. Email proof of service (military ID, VA card or DD-214) to ascendstemacademy@gmail.com and we’ll send your code.

Public School Withdrawal Letter Generator
Enrolling with Ascend STEM Academy? Florida law requires you to notify your child’s current public school in writing.
This letter is a template based on general Florida withdrawal requirements and is not legal advice. Some counties require additional forms or specific submission methods (mail, portal, or in person) — check with your local district office. We recommend sending by certified mail and keeping a copy for your records.
What else might my district need?
This letter covers the notification Florida law requires, but individual districts sometimes ask for a bit more. Here’s what to watch for:
- A district-specific withdrawal form or portal step. Some counties want the letter mailed to the superintendent, others require an in-person visit or an online portal submission instead. Check your district’s Home Education or Student Records page.
- Proof of new enrollment. Many districts — and scholarship programs like Step Up For Students — want confirmation that your child is actually enrolled somewhere else, with a start date, so the withdrawal isn’t flagged as truancy. Ascend STEM Academy can provide an enrollment verification letter for this once you’re enrolled.
- Student ID number. Some districts ask for it if you have it, but it’s not required to submit your withdrawal notice.
- Certified mail or tracked delivery. Recommended so you have proof of the date your district received the letter. Keep a copy for your own records.
This is general guidance based on common Florida district practices, not legal advice. Requirements vary by county, so it’s worth a quick check with your local district office if you’re unsure.
